1. What are your favorite tools you now have in your personal technology toolbox? Briefly describe a particular activity that you will plan for your students using at least one of these new tools.
One of my favorite tools was the Mix Book. I usually have my students create a scrap book using power point about one of their birthdays. This year when  we discuss family members and celebrations, I will have them create a scrapbook they can share with family in other countries or states on Mix Book.

2. How have you transformed your thinking about the learning that will take place in your classroom? How has your vision for your classroom changed? Are you going to need to make any changes to your classroom to accommodate the 21st Century learner?
I have many new ideas to incorporate technology into my class. Every unit will have a project assessment using at least one of the tech tools.

3. Were there any unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?
I knew I was not the most tech savy teacher, but it turns out I knew more than I thought. I have learned a lot by being able to play with the tools on my own. However I know I still need a lot of help! :)

Discuss at least three things you would want to make sure your students understand about being good digital citizens.
1. Respect others opinions
2. Avoid rude "Trolls"
3. communicate clearly and to the point
4. re read what you write before you send it or post it
5. Ask permission before posting something about someone else

Share at least one of the resources mentioned above or on the Ed Tech website that you plan to use instructionaly.
I will be using the video on Brain POP and isafe to give my students a better understanding of what it is to be a good digital citizen.

Explain briefly how you would "teach" the idea of digital citizenship to your students Explain briefly how you plan to share the idea of digital citizenship with your parents.
As a class we will create a contract after watching the Brain POP video and going through some of the Ed Tech websites. We will sign and give our parents a copy of our contracts and post it on our class blog.

Why do you think it is important to tie the technology to the objective? I think it is important to tie the technology to the objective because if you don't the students will not find a purpose to the assignment which leads to classroom management problems.
Why should we hold students accountable for the stations/centers? The students do a better job when they are working on a project or assignment using a device or web tool they enjoy working with.

I Visited all of the links but I did not find one with Spanish. However I am already familiar with some that i use every year. My favorite is "CONJUGUEMOS." The kids get to race the clock to see how many verbs they can conjugate in a given time frame at the end they print their grade.
List two to three apps you found for the iPod Touch/iPad that you can use in your classroom.
1. Comic touch lite: students can manke their own photos come alive by adding their thoughts and words in spanish or simply add captions to describe the scene or title the photo in spanish. They will be responsible for posting it on our classroom blog. 
2. Scribble lite: students can play pictionary to practice vocabulary words by drawing the word while other group members guess what the vocabulary word is then they shake to erase and another student get a turn. Students will keep track of points and turn in for extra credit on quiz.

After watching the videos tutorials I learned that I am able to sync my laptop to the IPADs in my classroom to better monitor their use. I also learned that I can get an I tunes account with my spring branch information.
I plan on creating a CHAMPs poster to help the students understand clearly what I expect of them while using tech devices. I plan on assigning duties to manage the devices in the classroom. For example, I will have a student from each class be responsible for passing out and pick up the devices.

Students will be able to criticize different restaurants and make suggestions to students froma different school through skype.
When you plan to implement: I will implement the second semester of Spanish 1a
What tool(s) you plan to use: Skype and internet
A brief description of the project: I will post a blog and have students practice commenting on my choice of restaurant and suggest a new restaurant. Then I will contact another Middle School and have the students conversate over Skype about the restaurants they like and suggest a new place to go. Students will finally report back to my blog and respond to,"Como se llama el restaurante nuevo?" "Donde esta el restaurnate nuevo?" "Que comida sirven en el restaurante nuevo?" " Piensas ir al restaurante?"
